Close, but no cigar.  Jamie Lee Curtis played Buckaroo's _Mother_, in a
scene which was later cut from the beginning of the movie.  It showed
Buckaroo's Japanese father performing a jet-car experiment similar to the
one Buckaroo did; a bomb had been planted in the jet-car by Xanoi Xan,
leader of the World Crime League, and both of Buckaroo's parents were killed
in the explosion.  A frame from this scene appears in the text-and-photos
section in the back of the Marvel Comics adaptation of the film.  Since
Jamie Lee Curtis did filming for the movie, she was listed in the credits,
even though she never appeared on screen.

"Buckaroo, the President's on the phone.  He wants to know is everything
all right with the aliens or should he go ahead and destroy Russia."
